Hue / Luminosity / Saturation Tab:

To select a new color, first choose the Hue from the rainbow column on the right, then choose the Luminosity and Saturation of the color from the area on the left. 

Custom Palette Tab:

If you click on this tab a custom palette will appear, where you can save your favourite colors.

To add the selected color to the custom palette, right click on the palette, in the menu choose Color -> Replace Palette Entry

The Palette Sub-Menu lets you handle all the palette's colors at once, for example you can change the number of entries, save and load a palette from file, clear all entries, extract automatically the palette the best fits the picture loaded in the editor and finally convert the custom palette to a Color Gradient.

Current Color Panel: 

The big Color Box displays the current color for editing. This will be used with all the editing tools when the "Color Editing Mode" Tab is selected.

The pipette on the left allows selecting a new color from the windows desktop.

The two small color boxes on the right are the background and foreground colors to be used with Photosho Plugins Filters.

Blend Mode:

There is also a "Blend Mode" Selector, that allows picking a mode to blend transparently the color with the picture, during editing. By default it's set to Normal.

Amount:

This is the amount of color you want to use during editing.

This panel includes the following commands: 

"Undo & Redo Selection" , "Invert Selection" , "Disable Selection";

You can create selections using the selections tools. To add a selection to one already existing, use the "Add mode" check box.before creating a new selection.

This panel will show the name of the current layer.

You can switch between image layers and text layers. Pressing one of the 2 Buttons opens the Layers Window and shows all the layer properties.

This panel displays the number of changes you have applied to the picture during your editing.

You can undo the changes using the "Undo" button

You can repeat that changes using the "Redo" button. 

After the maximum number of "undo" steps is reached, the oldest undos will be replaced by the new ones.  To increase the size of the undo buffer you can select from main menu: Options->Number of Undo (Undo Buffer). By default you have 60 Undo Steps available for each new project.

Focus uses temporary files on your hard disk to store undo informations: this method has the big advantage of not consuming memory.

You can select the best zoom factor for viewing and editing the picture.

• Select the zoom moving the slider or choosing from the drop-down list

• To see the picture in its real size press the 1:1 button

• To fit the picture to the size of the screen press the Fit to Screen button
